Welcome to Sailing School Brittany, an RYA recognised sailing school. At Sailing School Brittany we are committed to excellence.
We aim to ensure your time with us is pleasurable, informative and above all safe. We are privileged to be located in the beautiful temperate southern coast of Brittany, the 'Golfe du Morbihan', a region of seafarers and legends.
The ‘Golfe du Morbihan’ is an inland sea dotted with around 40 small islands and as many deserted and extraordinary anchorages. It’s sheltered from the Atlantic Ocean by the peninsula of Rhuys with a 1km wide gap between Port-Navalo and Kerpenhir which leads out to the bay of Quiberon.
It is a pleasure to discover the calm of the ‘Golfe', an area which has been described as one of the most beautiful bays in the world and a fantastic sailors’ playground. Southern Brittany lives to the rhythm of the tides and the changing winds. It offers something for all tastes, unequalled Breton scenery, picturesque harbours, cruising in protected bays, delightful, peaceful anchorages and with the opportunity for some challenging pilotage and some adventurous sailing.
We offer a comprehensive range of RYA practical sailing and theory courses. So, whether you are a complete beginner, have aspirations to develop a career in the yachting industry or just want to have fun sailing we have a sailing experience to suit your needs. Our RYA tuition is in English but we do speak French. Our RYA professional instructors are passionate about sailing and sharing their knowledge. They are Yachtmaster examiners, mature, patient, with a sense of humour and will endeavour to ensure your enjoyment and fun. Whichever sailing experience you decide is best for you, we are certain it will be rewarding and unforgettable.
