Sailing School Brittany’s RYA Yachtmaster intensive modular programme.
This is a great option for anyone interested in a career as a commercially endorsed professional skipper or a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking for a life changing experience.
The programme consists of 3 separate and individually bookable modules. The modular approach means you can join the programme at any point reflecting your previous experience or as a novice allowing you to take it a step at a time without having to commit to the full programme from the start.
At Sailing School Brittany we pride ourselves on our personal and professional approach. Your progress is constantly monitored by your dedicated mentor, with detailed debriefs so your training plan is adjusted to suit your strengths and weaknesses. All our instructors are hand-picked for their ability, knowledge, communication skills and sense of humour.
During your Yachtmaster Modular programme, you will gain mileage in truly tidal waters, visiting numerous ports on the Atlantic coast of France.
We provide plenty of pilotage and boat handling scenarios so you gain experience in many varied situations and not just the ‘required’ miles. The tidal water of Brittany will prepare you for pretty much anywhere you choose to sail.
Our course is intense, efficient and requires commitment from both us and you. We guarantee to give you 100% support and commitment and we expect the same in return.
The scheme is designed to turn you into a high quality sailor with a rounded seamanship skill base. You will spend plenty of quality time on the water as there is no substitute for ‘hands on’ experience.
